Welcome to my small business blog!

Hey everyone! I wanted to welcome you all to my small business blog! I hope to do business with many of you and gain a few awesome friends. A little about my business, Claudia's Event Creations was created in October of 2012. It was kind of an accident you could say. My job as a cashier was going downhill, what with our hours being cut, getting sent home early and the store being sold i needed a second source of income to help my family pay the bills. One day i was talking to a friend of my Moms who owns a party supply and she asked me if i was interested in helping her make event invites. I was a little skeptical because i had never thought of doing such thing but regardless i agreed. I made her a few samples and we went from there. After successfully making a few orders i opened a Facebook page. I decided that my event invites had to have a different flavor, a uniqueness to each and every order. Instead of posting invitations and their prices i opted for posting samples and templates. In other words, anything i posted would only serve as an example to any customer getting ready to order, no two invitations would ever be alike. Similar perhaps, but alike not on my watch. If my customer wanted something unique and different that is exactly what i was going to provide. I had my sisters, their boyfriends,my mom and anyone willing to sit and glue rhinestones by hand or make bows working for this business. This last October marked our one year in business, which is why i decided we needed a blog and some serious marketing. That and i need to ditch my job, i believe a girl has every right to chase her dreams and if this is my chance to become a business woman and save up for that trip to France then by God i am up for glueing rhinestones and making it rain glitter.
